the NY State Assessment Website.
2019 Assessment Changes The Town of Saugerties has maintained a 100% equalization rate since 2010. To accomplish this, it has been necessary to make changes to the assessed values of properties.
For 2019, it was necessary to increase all residential properties by 3%, and to increase commercial properties outside the Village by 3% and commercial properties within the Village by 5%.
PLEASE NOTE: These trends are made generally, to most properties. Some properties may have different adjustments.
If you feel your assessment is not correct, there is an attached Grievance Worksheet below. (See the "Useful Information" section immediately following.)
Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
To help facilitate the grievance review process, please complete the “Grievance Worksheet”. See attached "Grievance Adjustment Grid.xlsx" file below.
THE DATE FOR THE 2019 GRIEVANCE DAY FOR THE TOWN OF SAUGERTIES IS MAY 28, 2019
It will be held at the Senior Center Building on Market Street between the hours of 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
